HEALTH EDUCATION

Making medical knowledge easier to understand—and easier to use.

Healthcare information is everywhere. Understanding what it means, knowing what matters, and deciding what to do with it can be much harder.

As a physician, I believe health education should do more than provide information. It should help people ask better questions, recognize when something deserves attention, and feel more confident participating in their own healthcare.

My approach to health education combines clinical experience with clear, practical communication—translating complex medical concepts into information people can actually use.

PATIENT & PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION

Medical information should be understandable, not intimidating.

Much of my health education work focuses on helping people better understand their health and the decisions they may face throughout different stages of life.

I am particularly interested in women’s health, hormonal and metabolic health, prevention, and the health concerns that are sometimes minimized or dismissed.

The goal is not to replace individualized medical care. It is to give people the knowledge and language they need to have more informed conversations with their healthcare professionals.

Areas of focus

  • Women’s Health
  • Hormonal Health
  • Metabolic Health
  • Preventive Health
  • Chronic Disease
  • Patient Advocacy

DIGITAL HEALTH COMMUNICATION

Meeting people where they are.

Digital platforms have changed how people access healthcare information—and created new opportunities for physicians to educate beyond the traditional clinical encounter.

My experience in telemedicine and digital health communication has reinforced the value of delivering credible medical information in formats that are accessible, engaging, and relevant to people’s everyday lives.

I am interested in the intersection of medicine, technology, and communication—and in how digital health can expand access without sacrificing clinical integrity.

NUBIANDOC

Empowering women through health education.

NubianDoc is an extension of my work in health education, created to make evidence-informed health information more accessible to women—particularly women of color.

The platform focuses on practical conversations around women’s health, hormonal health, metabolic health, and the questions women often have but may not know how to ask.

NubianDoc reflects a simple belief:

Women deserve health information that respects their intelligence, addresses their concerns, and helps them advocate for themselves.

MY APPROACH TO HEALTH EDUCATION

Inform. Empower. Connect.

Good health education should leave someone with more than information.

It should help them understand what is happening in their body, recognize what questions are worth asking, and know when it is time to seek individualized medical care.

I believe physicians have an important role to play in making medical information more accessible without oversimplifying it—and in creating educational spaces where people feel informed rather than overwhelmed.

That is the standard I bring to my health education work.

EDUCATION WITH PURPOSE

Knowledge is most powerful when it can be put into practice.

Whether I am educating a patient, supporting a clinician, or creating content for a broader audience, my goal remains the same:

Make the information useful. Make the message clear. Keep the medicine sound.
